For 25 years, my nail salon was about so much more than nails. ❤️

Yes, there was plenty of pampering and relaxation, but there were also countless heart-to-heart talks across that nail table. We talked through life together — the good, the hard, relationships, families, struggles, celebrations, and everything in between.

We supported each other. We laughed together, cried together, and so many of you became friends rather than simply clients.

Looking back now, I realize that the heart behind what I was doing all those years really hasn’t changed.

After an injury meant I could no longer continue my nail business the way I had for 25 years, I had to find a new direction. But I didn’t want to walk away from this incredible community of loyal followers and friends we’ve built together.

I wanted to build on it.

And that’s how Anchored Hearts began. ❤️⚓

Nails by Christina is officially transitioning to Anchored Hearts, a faith-based lifestyle and community brand centered around faith, encouragement, creativity, wellness, personal growth, and helping one another navigate the real seasons of life.

In many ways, Anchored Hearts is a continuation of what happened around my nail table for all those years — just in a new way.

To everyone who sat across from me, trusted me with your stories, referred your friends and family, supported my business, followed this page, encouraged me, prayed for me, or simply stayed along for the ride — thank you.

Twenty-five years is an entire chapter of my life, and I will always be grateful for every bit of it.

Now it’s time to turn the page. ❤️

Goodbye, Nails by Christina. 💅❤️

Welcome to Anchored Hearts. ⚓❤️

Same heart. Same community. A new chapter

Bible Journey
Today hit me differently.
I did not expect where this lesson took me

Temptation. Choices. Consequences. Shame. Hiding. Blame.

We’ve probably all lived through some version of that.

But what stayed with me was that God still asked, “Where are you?”

Not because He didn’t know.

Because the story wasn’t over.

Today reminded me that a bad choice can have real consequences without having to become the end of your story.

Today, we do today. Tomorrow, we trust God with tomorrow. ❤️

A PORTRAIT OF A LIFETIME
An Anchored Hearts Devotional Series

I’ve read Ecclesiastes before, but Ecclesiastes 12 made me stop and really look.

It paints an incredible picture of an entire human life — youth, strength, aging, mortality, and ultimately returning to the God who gave us life.

And it begins with this:

“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth…” — Ecclesiastes 12:1

Why start there?

Because when we’re young, it can feel like there will always be more time.

More time to change.
More time to forgive.
More time to figure out what matters.
More time to get serious about God.

But Ecclesiastes reminds us not to wait for life to become difficult before we begin building our lives around Him.

Remember Him now.

Not because getting older is something to fear — but because today is a gift.

Over this series, we’re going to walk through Ecclesiastes 12:1–8 and uncover the incredible symbolism hidden in each line.

And trust me… some of it blew my mind. 🤯

ometimes what feels like God is breaking you
is actually God rebuilding you.

The surrender.
The waiting.
The letting go.
The part you never would have chosen.

You may not understand what God is doing yet—but you can trust Who is doing it.

“Lord, I trust Your process.” ⚓️🤍

One bad chapter doesn’t end the story. ❤️

Maybe you’ve made mistakes.
Maybe life took a turn you never expected.
Maybe there are chapters you wish you could rewrite.

But God isn’t finished with you yet.

Your past can teach you without defining you.
Your hardest season can become part of your testimony.
And what feels broken today may be exactly where God begins something new.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

⚓ Stay anchored. Keep going. Your story is still being written.

Today I got stuck on one sentence:

“It is not good for the man to be alone.” — Genesis 2:18

My first thought was about someone I love. Because that’s where my mind goes. 😂❤️

But then it came back around to me.

I’m realizing there’s a difference between being strong and believing I have to carry everything myself.

When I asked myself who takes care of me when I’m tired of taking care of everyone else, my answer came immediately:

God.

But today gave me another thought: maybe sometimes God takes care of us through other people.

Maybe letting someone help isn’t weakness.

Maybe being strong also means knowing when to say, “I could use somebody beside me.”

❤️ What I’m taking with me today:
God takes care of me—and I don’t have to carry everything alone.

Some seasons don’t make sense while we’re living through them.

But looking back, we can often see where God was protecting us, redirecting us, strengthening us, or preparing us for something we couldn’t see yet.

I don’t have to understand the whole plan to trust the One who does. ⚓️❤️

We all have battles. Some people carry ones everyone can see. Others carry things nobody knows about.

But struggling doesn’t erase your worth.

Today I read that we were created in God’s image, and my first thought was simple:

God doesn’t make mistakes.

Your battle is something you’re going through.
It isn’t who you are.
