Dry grass + hot temperatures + gusty winds = a recipe for a fast-moving wildfire. 🌬️🔥

One spark from a cigarette, welding equipment, trailer chain, mower, brush pile, or vehicle can turn into a serious fire in minutes.

⚠️ PLEASE:
• Avoid outdoor burning if possible
• Don’t toss ci******es from vehicles
• Secure trailer chains and check vehicles for anything dragging
• Be extremely careful with equipment that produces sparks or heat
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Keep an eye on changing wind conditions

🔥 A small fire can become a BIG fire before you realize it.

If you see smoke or a fire starting, don’t assume someone else has reported it. Call it in.

EXTREME HEAT — PLEASE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!

Folks, this heat is no joke. If you have to be outside, drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks in the shade or A/C, and avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
Check on elderly family members and neighbors.
Make sure pets have plenty of water and shade.
‼️NEVER leave children or pets in a vehicle‼️
If you become dizzy, confused, extremely weak, or stop sweating, get into a cool place immediately — heat stroke is an emergency.

This dry, dusty air mass may lead to more vivid sunrises and sunsets while also slightly impacting air quality. Individuals with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities are encouraged to limit prolonged outdoor activity if conditions worsen. Temperatures are expected to remain warm under the dusty conditions.
