One year ago today, I took a leap and launched Live Wandering LLC—a dream born from a deep love of travel, healing, and soft moments in nature. July 15th has always been dear to me for more than one reason, and last year, I decided to rewrite it with purpose, peace, and possibility.

I started my morning with my annual donut and coffee treat before heading to a massage — a little ritual of softness I give myself every year.

Afterward, I felt pulled toward the water, so I escaped to my favorite anti-anxiety spot on the North Shore.

I’ll be honest… I felt a little off. That creeping feeling of “I thought I’d be further by now” snuck in. 31. Another number. Another year of pressure.

But something about the warmth of the rocks, the waves brushing up in rhythm, and the stillness I found in my own body helped me return to center.

I reminded myself: I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. And even if I don’t always understand the timing, I’m still here. Still breathing. Still creating beauty.

I watched sailboats pass, ate strawberries on pink stone, sipped a mocktail, and felt the anxious noise soften. Then I headed back for the grand finale: cake! 😋

My birthdays are sacred to me—not for the attention, but because I made it. Through everything. I’m still here. And that deserves celebrating.

So, cheers to 31. To softness. To healing. And to creating something meaningful along the way.

I knew that hiking in the Rocky Mountains would be a core memory, but I wasn't expecting this change in my life after recording one morning Reiki session at Dream Lake.

Khâluna in Minneapolis has been on my wander list for some time. I was thrilled to try it this past weekend! It was everything I hoped for and a little more.

⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: the staff were incredibly friendly, the bathrooms were well-kept, the clientele was pretty diverse, and the food was incredible. Plus, they have a small paid parking lot. Definitely worth the price and hype. ✨️

The basil wings were a touch spicy but tasted amazing. I mean, it was deep fried. I am a little shocked they were bone-in for the style of the restaurant but I had no issues with that. They were delicious.

I never imagined I'd eat "puffed" rice but it was a nice texture surprise in the Crab Fried Rice.

The Red Chicken Curry was amazing. The best I have ever had to be honest.

I'm a chocolate girl but our sweet treat that night was a decadent pistachio cake. It was really good for not having any chocolate it in 😏🍫

📒Notes:
-💰Price: $$$ For two people with one starter, two meals, one dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks it was under $200.
-$10 to park in their parking lot. Otherwise, street parking is available.
-Make a reservation a few days before if not weeks before (during peak season)
-Words of advice: don't come here if you want pasta, a cheeseburger, or pizza. You won't find something to eat. Except maybe the wings. We all have our particular dishes we like and I'mjust being real with y'all. 🫶🏻
-Don't be afraid to try new dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by everything we tried. I dont think you can have a bad meal at this restaurant.

I'm lost for words on how to describe my feelings from last night: grateful, lucky, or blessed perhaps. 💜
We witnessed nature's beautiful lights and I had the chance to practice Reiki under the night sky. It was truly magical. ✨️
It was incredible to see the lights form and eventually dance across the sky and vanish again as if it had been a dream. The stars seemed to enjoy the beauty of the lights as well as they twinkled through the Northern Lights'veil.
I'm still in awe, if I'm being honest. Nature never ceases to surprise me. I'll be daydreaming about the Northern Lights for a while now.
