I finished second in one of the most expensive U.S. House primaries in Georgia history. More than $8 million was spent, including support from special interest groups.

Whether I ever run again is in God’s hands. Until He reveals my next assignment, I’ll continue serving as a doctor, healthcare advocate, and voice for those too often overlooked.

Healthcare isn’t a Republican issue. It isn’t a Democratic issue. It’s a life-and-death issue.

I brought together some of Georgia’s top physicians, dentists, psychiatrists, healthcare leaders, insurance experts, attorneys, elected officials, and community advocates because talking isn’t enough anymore. We need action.

In one room, we heard heartbreaking stories of patients who waited too long for care, couldn’t afford prescriptions, lost coverage, faced mental health barriers, struggled to find dental care, or watched their local hospitals close. But we didn’t stop at the problems—we built solutions.

One message echoed throughout the room:

Prevention is always better than crisis.

We believe every family deserves access to affordable healthcare, preventive care, mental healthcare, dental care, life-saving medications, and quality hospitals—before an emergency changes everything.

This Healthcare Roundtable was just the beginning. We’re taking this conversation to town halls, community forums, and our Healthcare Summit because real change happens when experts and everyday people work together.
