Hi, I’m Alexis—the author behind the Unboxed Collection.
Life as a mom raising daughters with dreams of med school isn’t easy, but it’s my “why.” Everything I do is about breaking cycles, breaking curses, and building community through growth and healing.
It’s been 5 months since I officially became a published author—and wow, life has been coming at me fast. I’m happy, grateful, and still learning as I go. Trauma made me introverted for a while, but I’m finding my voice again and feeling more like myself each day.
I’m a North Carolina–based author who doesn’t believe in being boxed in. My stories are real, raw, and unfiltered—and I write for the people who’ve ever been told they had to shrink themselves.
