There’s something extra special about a holiday lunch at The Pharmacy on Augusta—especially when it involves a prime rib sandwich. 🥪

This spot serves prime rib on Wednesdays and rolls it into a limited-run sandwich on Thursdays (pictured and very much worth planning around). 😋

Beyond the food, I love how seriously they take allergen safety: most items are gluten-free or can be made GF, there are no peanuts in the building, and dairy-free modifications are easy.

Their holiday drink menu is available through December, then transitions to mocktails for Dry January. Add in the charm of dining inside the former Campbell Pharmacy (1928–1997), and you’ve got a Greenville favorite that truly delivers.

Have you been to this two-month-old spot yet? What has been your favorite menu item or drink so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below 👇️

Nothing says chilly-weather comfort like a slow cooker bubbling away all afternoon. 🧡

Last week’s star: open-faced Chicago-style beef sandwiches, finished with a batch of homemade giardiniera that totally stole the show.

The bright, pickled veggies added the perfect bite against that rich, savory beef. Cozy, flavorful, and naturally customizable for food allergies!! What crockpot recipes are in your rotation lately? Let us know in the comments below 👇️

Brunch at home has been my little weekday pick-me-up lately, and this combo IS IT. 🤌

I grabbed these crispy tostadas (Gluten-free, and straight from Mexico!) at my local Dollar General — who knew?! Topped them with mashed avocado (salt + lime, always), two over-medium eggs, bacon, and a generous drizzle of Valentina.

Simple, affordable, and so satisfying. What’s your go-to at-home breakfast or brunch? Let us know in the comments below 👇️

Back at one of our absolute go-tos — Local Cue! 🎯

Their loaded tot skillets are forever a favorite (and so easy to make allergen-friendly 🙌).

Jamie went for the smoked chicken sandwich this time, complete with their homemade Alabama white BBQ sauce. Smoked, spicy, saucy perfection.

Also, since making the restaurant more kid-friendly, they have changing tables and step stools in the bathrooms to help little ones reach the sinks! So happy to find out our favorites are thinking with parents in mind as we venture out with Beanie more.

Celebrated another trip around the sun at one of our longtime downtown faves — The Lazy Goat! 🐐✨

Their team went above and beyond with a handwritten birthday card and a bottle of bubbly (extra special since we were also toasting my mom’s big move to the area!). And yes — they have a full dairy-free + gluten-free menu that made dining a dream. 💛

We started with drinks, apps, and then Mom and I chose two different pasta dishes, while Jamie chose a curry dish.

If you’re gifting locally this season, don’t miss checking out O’Darby’s Liquor Barn in Taylors for these stunning St. Germain glass sets that my drink was served in (comes with two in a pack).

Greenville’s coffee scene just got even better! 🌟

Snuck in for a pre–grand opening visit to , and I’m already obsessed with their aesthetic — cozy couches, leafy plants, and fun little merch moments everywhere you look.

Their maple cardamom oatmilk latte was the star though… that housemade syrup is something special. This is definitely going to be a new locals-know favorite! 🤎✨ We loved that they also had a cute changing table in the bathroom for parents visiting, and Eleanor enjoyed her first coffee shop outing too!

Getting a head start on Christmas gifts with some homemade goodness! 🎄✨

Canning the last of our basil into homemade pesto felt so satisfying — about 16-18 cups of basil ended up making roughly 20 jars!

Perfect for gifting, sharing with friends, or keeping a little stash for cozy winter pasta nights. There’s nothing like the taste of summer preserved for the holidays! 🌿💚

Finally putting last summer’s rhubarb from Massachusetts to good use! 🌿

This blueberry rhubarb pie (made with a homemade crust and fresh blueberries from our garden) was the perfect way to celebrate one of my favorite tart-and-sweet combos.

There’s nothing like the taste of homegrown ingredients to make dessert feel extra special — and it’s such a satisfying way to start using up garden gems from the season! 🥧💛

Stopped by Reubens in Powdersville for a hearty, classic sandwich lunch! 🥪

I loved the Smoked Reuben Sandwich (smoked corned beef, sauerkraut, and 1000 Island on marble rye — no Swiss for me), while Jamie went all in with the Patty Melt (two burger patties, grilled onions, American cheese, and mayo on Texas toast).

A local favorite for a reason — flavorful, filling, and perfect for a laid-back midday bite. Where is your favorite local lunchtime spot? Let us know in the comments below 👇️

Mom’s milestone birthday celebration was one for the books!

We went all out with sushi from Chef 21 Sushi Burger downtown, homemade spiced fig cupcakes, and a sparkling glass of champagne for every toast. 🍣🧁🥂

From rolling through every sushi favorite to enjoying the little indulgence of homemade allergen-friendly sweets, it was a day filled with flavor, fun, and family love.

There’s nothing better than celebrating a special person with thoughtful details, laughter, and plenty of good food — memories like these are what birthdays are made for! What's your favorite way to celebrate the ones you love? Let us know in the comments below 👇️
