Today, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would have been 97 years young if he wasn't murdered after delivering his riveting, "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech.

Did you know he would retreat to , in the , to write his speeches? Did you know this was where he wrote those final words he'd deliver just four days before he was murdered?

I spent some time retracing his steps - visiting the very cottage where he stayed and enjoying his signature lunch of conch fritters and ginger ale (a meal he coined as his own when on the island). I, of course, couldn't resist thinking how a book like might not have existed had it not been for many of the causes he championed in his short life. I honor you, Dr. King, on your birthday today!

He paved a way for so many of us and I truly believe I am in that dream he had. 🎶Let us March on, 'til victory is won.🎶

March 2025 was when I knew my publishing journey was about to shift into a new gear. After flying to for , and having the opportunity to promote in the , I came back to the States fueled with even deeper passion thanks to the rich connections I made across the pond! 🇬🇧

The beautiful thing is, God already had the road paved! 🌊
