A self proclaimed hip-hop junkie, Cas Santos is a second generation Cape Verdean-American who grew up in south east Massachusetts during the 80’s & 90’s. A fan of music since a young child, he fell in love with hip-hop in the early 90’s thanks to artists like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and 2pac. After graduating college his seemingly inevitable path to release his own music was derailed with the unexpect
ed birth of his first child and the creation of his first business. Despite the detours in life, his desire to make quality music never went away and in 2020 the pandemic and subsequent lockdown gave him the opportunity to follow through on his dreams. He started from scratch, teaching himself how to produce and engineer his own music in order to ensure that he would be solely responsible for his ability to make and release music. The result was the creation of Dark Saint Records and his forthcoming debut album “Better Late Than Never”.
