Whoever comes up with the best nickname based on the mugshot... we owe you a beer.
His real name is Edwin Batiste and he's 35. According to police, he was just arrested for some pretty bad stuff.
From the Sierra Vista Police Department:
“Sierra Vista, AZ. 06/22/26. The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a suspect on several charges including aggravated assault and kidnapping following a barricade situation in the 200 block of Valerie Lane on Friday night.
SVPD officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area at about 8 p.m. on Friday. A 911 caller reported her brother had been shot at a residence. She responded to the address and took the victim to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
When officers arrived on scene, they commanded the occupants of the residence to exit. One man obeyed and exited, however the suspect and one other individual remained inside. Officers established a perimeter and issued a shelter in place warning to the surrounding area.
The Cochise County Regional SWAT team responded to the location with crisis negotiators. The non-suspect individual attempted to exit the residence multiple times, but the suspect refused to allow them to leave.
After about two hours the male hostage exited the residence and was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. An hour later, following non-lethal tactics deployed by the SWAT team, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.
The suspect was booked in the Cochise County Jail on two counts of domestic violence/aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence/disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon, one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm, one count of discharge of firearm at a structure, and one count of domestic violence/kidnapping.”
