The Referee Who Pulled a Gun on the Pitch!

In September 2015, during a heated amateur match in Minas Gerais, Brazil, things got way out of control. After being slapped and kicked by angry players demanding a red card, referee Gabriel Murta — who also happened to be a police officer — stormed off the field…
…only to return holding a GUN.

Players froze. The assistant referee tried to calm him down. No shots were fired, but the incident left everyone in shock.

Murta was immediately suspended and sent for a psychological evaluation. The match? Canceled. The internet? Exploded.
