Meet the team! Meet Brandon Palmer, our Co-DJ and Dance Instructor! We can’t operate without him - he’s a vital part of what we do! Here’s what he has to say about DJing:

“One of my favorite things about 309 Sound is being able to have fun with my friend Connor while helping create a special atmosphere for someone’s wedding day!

For me, DJing is more than just music, lighting, and mixing. At 309 Sound, we have the privilege of stepping into one of the most important and sometimes stressful days of someone life. We get the privilege in helping set the tone for the entire event.

I love spending time with those closest to the bride and groom. Watching the ceremony unfold and seeing the night come to life at the reception is always incredible. These transitions don’t just happen on their own; they require a team of people working together to bring the vision to life.

Having taught ballroom, Latin, and swing dance for several years, every opportunity to introduce these styles to the dance floor truly makes my day! Whether it’s teaching a few moves or helping break the ice, it reminds me of the importance of setting our clients’ weddings apart from the typical reception.

We’re not just running a playlist; we’re creating a moment that people will look back on for years to come. While we do have a carefully crafted playlist for the night, it’s never set in stone. We love to deviate as needed because, as we know, a party isn’t a party unless everyone’s dancing.
