Comfort food at its coziest. 🍲
Sue Scully’s Best Ever Zuppa Toscana swaps in sweet potatoes for a seasonal twist on the classic Italian soup.
Ingredients:
• 3 sweet potatoes (cubed)
• ½ bunch kale
• 1 lb hot sausage
• Fennel, paprika, onion, garlic & chili powder
• 32 oz chicken broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
Steps:
Add all ingredients (except cream) to a slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hrs.
Stir in cream before serving.
Serve with crusty bread, and don’t forget the wine!
