I’ve been hunting a buck my daughter named Bob. He’s a clean mainframe 10. I thought I shot him midday yesterday. It wasn’t until the recovery that I realized I had shot a different buck that I had never seen before with an incredibly similar frame to Bob’s but a bit smaller.
I am so thankful my wife and daughters were able to help with the recovery! It was so much fun to share the experience with them! Bowhunting doesn’t go as planned, more often than not, but I am trying (emphasis on trying) to learn to enjoy this thing we are so blessed to be able to do rather than waste good moments thinking about what ifs and alternatives.

The hunt for Bob continues…
