It might be late, but we’re right on time for our Ricebirds! Tonight’s Homecoming game has El Campo back in action against the 1–4 Beeville Jones Trojans, who’ve taken some tough losses this season and we’re looking to give ’em one more.

The Ricebirds sit at 4-1 in non-district play, earning dominant victories across the board with their only setback being a last-second thriller against Needville. Now, the focus shifts to the second half of the campaign as they prepare to open district play with a Homecoming showdown against Beeville-Jones, determined to set the tone for the stretch ahead.

At today’s PVAMU meet, Kameron Mitchell shattered the VC record in the 5-mile with an incredible time of 30:48! 🏆🔥

Not far behind, Clayton Hlavac matched the previous school record, tying former Pirate Erik Jaramillo’s mark in a gutsy performance. 👏
