Too often, as parents, we start looking for clues—stirring up a whole investigation—trying to figure out why our child is being distant, short, or emotionally disconnected, when the truth is… it’s us.
It’s us not truly showing that we CARE.

Care by:
Seeing them
Hearing them
Supporting them
And most importantly… Lifting them.

Because one day, they won’t remember the rules you set…
but they will remember how you made them feel.
And the question that will echo long after you’re gone is this:

Did you teach them to love from a full heart…
or did they learn to survive from an empty one?

What a powerful way to close out my November speaking tour—pouring into our parents! Tonight we unpacked “Bridging the Gap: Staying Connected in a Disconnected Age.”

We walked through where the disconnect began between us as parents and our children, traced the roots of that separation, and then journeyed into the how-to’s of rebuilding that bond—because connection is the heartbeat of every relationship.

We wrapped up with a three-course presentation illustration that brought everything full circle. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly, we walked away with real tools and strategies to shift our relationships from satellite connections 📡 to direct connections.

You truly had to be there!!!

I’ve come to the realization that as people, we’ve given too much glorification to the push—that we’ve forgotten our true strength is revealed in the release! From birth, we were pushed into life, and ever since, we’ve pushed through countless obstacles—both good and bad. We’ve gotten so used to pushing that we rarely take the time to appreciate the power of release. Too often, we see release as just a temporary moment, almost “too good to be true.” But in reality, the release is where renewal, peace, and strength are found.
