Commerce in Cruces season finale is this Tuesday, June 26 at 3pm MST
This Tuesday, will be the ending of the first season of a very successful Commerce in Cruces live streaming show. The show will finale with part two of what was learned about conceptualizing and launching a business in the Mesilla Valley, and the resources available to business owners. In last week’s episode, (part one podcast available here https://www.bopitradio.com/commerce-in-cruces/), Host and Owner of bOpit (Business of People) Podcast Network, Tony Prangner Jr and Business Coach Steven Chavira reflected on the past stories discussed during the last 13 shows. Tony and Steven also provided coaching tips related to the stories they reviewed. “July is a tough month to round up guest speakers,” says Tony, “Plus with the summer break underway, business news comes few and far between in this area.” During the 2 month break, a lot of work will be underway in preparation for season two. “We will be working on re-configuring the entire live stream, and CC channel that will include other podcasts.” Tony added. “When Commerce in Cruces returns for season two, the live streaming show will only run 30 minutes in length.” Steven Chavira, who is the Co-host of Commerce in Cruces will return for season two. In addition, Steven will also host his own business coaching and live streaming show that will also run about 30 minutes. The details of Steven’s show are in the works, but it will follow at the conclusion of Commerce in Cruces. By the end of the summer, the bOpit Podcast Network will begin roll out the bOpit Southern New Mexico Android, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft apps. Android and Amazon will launch first in the next couple of weeks. Apple and Microsoft will follow later in the summer. “Our mobile apps will be the cornucopia of the bOpit Podcast Network.” Says Tony. “Majority of listeners prefer mobile apps to engage their favorite podcasts.” “We’re also surprisingly ahead of schedule in meeting certain major milestones initially planned when I launched bOpit.” The plan to also launch the network app may come sooner rather later. “When I initially launched bOpit, I was under the impression that my platform was only going to cater to small businesses.” Tony added, “What I didn’t realize was the amount of interests that major organizations in the Mesilla Valley have in adding a podcasting element to their marketing strategies.” In the coming weeks, some very big organizations will be joining bOpit with their very own podcast pages and channels. “It takes some extra time to configure a podcast page that includes graphics setup, social media integration and publishing recorded content.” Tony also added, “You will definitely know who these organizations are once we officially announce the launch of their podcast pages.” The podcast pages will then be added as individual channels to the network apps. If the momentum continues, the network apps will launch sometime next year. These are some examples of very exciting things happening inside bOpit’s short existence. Stay tuned!
