What an awesome weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. These last few trips around the sun with Brenna Brady-Dierksen have been the best. I'm looking forward to many more with you!

My badass wife had 1st place in the state series locked in before the weekend even started. She collected another win for the record book today in the state final!

I got 2nd in the final and locked in 4th for the state series. So many lessons learned in my first year of bmx racing, most of them from Brenna. Can't wait for next year's state series!

Gonna be an awesome weekend! Hunting for a podium spot. Let's go!

Gonna be an awesome weekend! Hunting for a podium spot. Let's go!

We want to wish the best of luck to these Racers representing Brighton BMX at the Illinois State Championship this weekend! From left to right, Aesa Sciandra, 17yo Expert; Nick Dokman, 41yo Intermediate; Luke Dokman, 6yo Intermediate; Brenna Dierksen 23yo Expert, Luna Dierksen, 1yo Balance Bike, Logan Dierksen, 28yo Intermediate. Aesa isn’t chasing a plate this year, as she was one race short due to illness but she will be out there racing for fun! But the rest are chasing plates!! Nick & Brenna are currently sitting #1, and Logan and Luke are sitting #4. Get after it Brighton BMX!
