Reminder that Broadcast Signals Reception may be affected during Snow and Rain storms. Typically the further you are from the Broadcast Site like Lamoille Summit, Grindstone Mt, Ryndon or Peavy Hill above Wells, the harder it is for the signal to get through.

Viewers of KNSN-TV (Nevada Sports Net) virtual channel 21 from Grindstone MT. We are investigating why KRXI in Reno is showing program guide but no video. We only Rebroadcast what we receive from the carriers from Reno and Salt Lake. We will update when we have a response.

Reno Channels were repaired Saturday 12/13/25. We will be making changes in the next couple weeks to go to a new Fiber Optic carrier with multiple routing. The current carrier has failed to many times and we are upgrading.

Hello Viewers Friday December 12th 1:20 pm.
Reno Channels are being repaired with a specialized fiber splicing crew. Our latest update from carrier is restoration by this evening.
With that said Elko Television Board approved us to have a multiple fiber link through the major Fiber carriers that will be several more hundred dollars a month and eliminate this carrier. This will have multiple instantaneous switching to stop this poor service. This has affected some other large carriers, these carriers basically removed the B team.

Reno Channels are still down as 7:40am Thursday 12/11/2025. Fiber optic crew in Reno is on site as of 6am repairing line.

We just experienced another Fiber outage from Reno Channels again 11pm Wednesday. We are checking on it.
I will be upgrading to new circuit in the next couple weeks. This is ridiculous.

Reno Channel Outage .
Sorry everyone...the fiber connection from Reno Switch center will be down until tomorrow morning. They did not give us any notification . I know this will affect alot of programming.
I will update as soon as possible.

Here is the video of the Lightning Striking the Grindstone Communications site tower. It is incredible power of Mother Nature. Notice the molten metal falling that used to be lightning rod !!

Update on Grindstone TV Site. We were struck directly by lightning Tuesday night.
We are fully back broadcasting all TV channels.
It destroyed our power transformer and actually destroyed other entities entire systems.
