We get a lot of questions about expected yield! This is a very helpful infographic about hanging weight and live weight for beef. Also take into consideration that your packaged meat weight will be about 50-60% of the hanging weight, depending on cut choices.

After my post about pork yesterday, I've been requested to share the beef one. I'll work on one about lamb and goat.
