Postcards from Japan 🏯

I went to Japan not knowing how much I needed to step away. Even with the constant movement, something about the air, the rhythm, the quiet corners… It gave me a peace I’ve never felt. Until we meet again, Japan 🌸

We’ve been holding onto this one for a long time (since 2023), and we’re so excited to finally share it. Filming miniatures has been on my bucket list for years, so huge shoutout to Awall for trusting us with the creative freedom to make it happen.

“Salem” by is out now on YouTube ✂️🎬

This was one of the most intense and rewarding sets I’ve ever had the privilege to lead. When first pitched the concept, I knew immediately — we had to go all in. And we did.

and I linked up at 1:30PM on Saturday the 26th, met with LowThread and at 3:00PM, and prepped until nightfall. Cameras started rolling at 7:00PM… and didn’t stop until 7:30AM the next morning. Wrapped at sunrise, home by 10:30AM on Sunday the 27th, and edited with just enough time to drop it for Halloween.

Couldn’t be prouder of this crew. Every single person gave everything they had to make this happen. The grit, the energy, the vision — it all shows. Here’s to more like this one 🎥🔥

I’m proud to share that Thoughts & Prayers is officially finished. After months of writing and preparation, three powerful days of filming, and weeks of editing, it’s finally done.

This film is incredibly personal to me. It comes from real experiences and losses, and my hope is that it sheds light on the cycle of gun violence that touches far too many families and communities.

I’m endlessly grateful to the cast and crew who gave their artistry to bring this vision to life, to our donors whose generosity made it possible, and to the community who opened their doors and allowed us to film in their space. This project would not exist without that trust.

To everyone who has supported this journey — thank you. Your belief in this story means everything.

I’ll be announcing the date for a private screening very soon. Stay tuned.
