For just a single rejection of Xerxes’ authority, Queen Vashti was banished from his presence forever. Thankfully… God is not like that!

He atones for our sins and brings us closer into his presence. A single sin of ours means that we deserve to be eternally separated from God forever. We deserve his holy, eternal wrath for our sin.

Yet despite our sins being too numerous to count, God has chosen to give us reconciliation.

I am thankful God was willing to overcome all of my rebellion in order to bring me into a right relationship with him.
