Today, we had the honor of joining the Hoke Family in the Church of Incarnation in Emmitsburg to honor our veterans. Becky Hoke diligently rang the bell for over 3 minutes, while family watched on. Her father, Tom Hoke recalled being thirteen years old when his father had taken over as the ringer. Since then, it is a Hoke family tradition. Tom will be celebrating his 97th birthday next Thursday!
We would love to see some pictures of everyone who has served in our community! It could be you, your parents or grandparents, aunts or uncles, children, etc! Please drop a picture below in the comments - with a name, branch of the military, and year the photo was taken.
