Our client, Jon, had transferred the videos to capture the memories of his children growing up but what he got was so much more than that, he also got keepsake memories of numerous lost family members. This time he ordered three more digital copies of all of his video transfers on flash drives.
Recently transferred old movie films for a 100 year old client, Charlie (donning a face mask), who has a spicy personality. Our clients keep us smiling (under our masks).

We have all sorts of VCRs, video cameras, reel-to-reel, 8-track, and record players that you can use in our Fort Collins store to preview your videos or old audio before you have us transfer it to digital for you. We also have a light table that you can use to look at negatives, slides and frames of old movie films. Not everyone wants to capture and preserve all the information on all of their old media. Do you really want that old TV show transferred? Do you really want hours and hours of your kid’s sporting events? Come in a review it before you have it transferred. If you are using the equipment ever so briefly there is no charge but if you decide to sit and stay for a spell we charge a low $15/hour equipment fee.

Rob brought in all sorts of devices with recorded audio on them….including a pen! We transferred all the audio off of the devices on to a single flash drive. Made us feel like we did work for James Bond.

We have two new helpers at the Fort Collins store. Aspen, our daughter is helping out between classes and homework while working on her MBA. Ambush, one of our Aussies is also working as store greeter as he broke his foot while jumping to catch a beloved ball.
Transferred a video about a school shooting on video tape to a DVD for a training class for the Berthoud Fire Department. He made me sad just telling me about it. I sure hope the video helps prevent it from happening again.

David brought in an old professionally produced film on 16mm film. He was the producer! It was the story of a blacksmith who was a dying breed but still doing his trade. We transferred it in high definition and cleaned it for him. We saved it all to a blu-ray disc and DVD.

Kent brought in his photos from his South Africa safari he went on last year and had us print his favorites as 16” x 20” prints. He plans to take them to a frame shop once he picks them up.
Sandy brought in a disc that she needed DVD copies of and also wanted digital files of it on a flash drive. She had taken it to FedEx Kinkos. They tried for 2 days and said they couldn’t do it. We copied it for her on the spot in 5 minutes. If it had been one that was difficult to copy we have several other methods to get it but this one was easy.

Martha brought in over 500 negatives to be scanned. We made them into positives in a size where you could print nice 4” x 6” photos. We saved them all to a flash drive for her. She said that this was one step in working on a new year’s resolution she had about cleaning up her photo collection.
I put up a new Valentine themed window display up at our Fort Collins location. Got to love those vintage Valentines and my big pink heart made of a collage of lot of family photos tinted pink.
