The women who masterminded this project have kept the vibes and community going with their park pop ups in the city of Denver.
They have mastered bringing together a variety of black people from all sides of the CO culture and they do it extremely well. I’ll never forget getting tagged by my friends and Sorors seeing their excitement and overwhelming joy at seeing so much black diversity✊🏿🤟🏿 to the front. In the end it’s about family and you feel like that at each event hands down. .❤️

Last night a friend and I got a little crazy and made this spread. A Mediterranean salad with beets, pine nuts, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, Persian cucumbers, blueberries, balsamic vinegar, red onion and Parmesan cheese.
A saffron mushroom, red onion, green bean, coconut milk risotto. Roasted green bean, sweet potato, mushroom and shish*to peppers. A fresh pasta tagliatelle with a sauce I’m not ready to even give up yet but just know it involves a little scorpion pepper. Some fresh scallops in butter and roasted garlic and saffron with grilled sea bass.I won’t even mention the garlic bread recipe at this point. The greek wine was the clear winner here 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Quick restaurant roundup

Here’s a round up of some excellent local eats and drinks 🥰

Stem Ciders treated my company to amazing rounds of craft cider. They have been calling RiNo home since 2014 and killing it since.
Schoolhouse chicken and waffle skewers need I say more 🥰 . We hopped on a whiskey flight to Scotland and then took a to Japan ❤️.
Arvada Tavern Cocktail Bar locally owned since 1933 and literally the first place to open post prohibition in
Chens Kitchen Colorado Ma and Pop Taiwanese Shop, incredible flavor massive meals, absolutely satisfied.

My bouquet bloomed so beautifully. I’m happy I was able to gift this to my sister before she left for home but it’s absolutely amazing. It smells wonderful, I’ve changed the water by now and it’s gorgeous.

Do you love Marilyn Monroe, Jersey Vibes, and incredible cuts of meat? Have you had a chance to visit this Littleton staple / Legend “Old Fashioned Italian Deli”? A family owned staple, the patriarch of this amazing operation has the memory of an elephant. Prior to his retirement he used to remember my name and order and it was wonderful to see each time. They’ve been making these incredible sandwiches since 1986, and it’s been nothing but a blessing since.
