A $1,500 Shifter? Did I get finessed? 💸

Tonight was only supposed to be a practice shoot with Marty from . But after swapping keys and driving each other’s cars, the night took a turn.

Driving Marty’s collection made me realize I’ve been holding onto a version of myself for too long. He helped me find the words to start writing the final chapter of my 17 year journey with this STI.

The building is done. The life happened. The $1,500 CAE shifter was the final piece of the puzzle, now it’s time to clean the car up and find its next owner.

$500,000 Silence: Why the Temerario is the ultimate predator.

Everyone is mourning the V10. I’m just trying not to breathe on the paint 😮‍💨

The loudest thing on this set wasn’t the exhaust, it was the tension of being the only ones on the lot with $500,000 of sexy engineering. We stayed until the dealership kicked us out, directing a half-million-dollar machine like the SHIFTbox.

I don't know, I was a v10 purist (keyboard warrior) until I heard the new hybrid v8 in person and still got the FIZZZ

I saw these two parked together and immediately thought, these 2 are the ultimate classic, luxury, executive JDM vehicles: The Toyota Century for the class, and the Diesel 80 Series for the Colorado grind. One is for the quiet, V12-powered diplomat vibes; the other is for hauling gear and a toddler through the dirt. Maybe Dad Life doesn’t have to be beige?

You hear that turbo flutter and suddenly you’re 10 years old again, watching a green Eclipse spin out at Dodger Stadium. One minute the SHIFT crew is having beers the next we're all outside making Marty do the turbo noises.

Why the $500k Lamborghini Temerario Proved Me Wrong

I let the comment section get in my head. I was convinced the Temerario’s V8 hybrid would be a soul-killer.

But the second I stood in front of it, it hit that same primitive nerve every great Lamborghini is built to strike. It’s a pure, unfiltered rush that doesn’t care about the V10 debate. The energy at this shoot was just on a different level.

My 16-year-old self would be losing his s**t right now. Standing on the lot with a Lamborghini pre-launch party is exactly where I dreamed of being half my life ago.

I almost let the endless comparisons and internet debates take the soul out of why I loved this, 22 years ago. I don’t care about the death of the V10 or the spec-sheet debate. It took Juju and his cardboard Lambo to remind me that this isn't just a shoot, it's the arrival.
