In every aspect of life, it is imperative to prioritize your emotional well-being and avoid relationships that are detrimental to your mental health, including those that involve gaslighting or narcissistic behavior, particularly when exhibited by relatives, which can be especially damaging when perpetrated by a family member or parent. It is essential to be proactive and sever ties with individuals who engage in such behavior. As someone who has experienced this firsthand, I want to emphasize that I will never permit anyone to treat me in the manner I was treated by the person with whom I should have had the closest bond – my mother. A mother should never treat her child as a mere pawn to be manipulated, nor should she attempt to deceive, manipulate, or spread falsehoods about them to influence others. It is vital to remember that you should not fear cutting ties with toxic individuals, regardless of whether they are family members or not. 💔😢👎💯
