In addition to the video from earlier with an office getting full of donations, we've nearly filled 1 station van with items donated from today alone at Burger Kings all over the area.

You can still donate tomorrow...new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, boots, & other warm winter gear to help keep tons of students in the area warm as they walk back & forth to school each day at community schools in the area!

Thanks again to Burger King & Thrifty Dry Cleaners for their help this weekend & next week to provide the United Way of Erie County with hundreds of items this winter!

Erie News Now reports that the Jewish Community Council of Erie is pledging $25,000 to humanitarian relief and support of the country and people of Israel in response to Saturday's deadly surprise attack. Remember that today, Wed, 10/4 - FEMA & FCC Plan a Nationwide Emergency Alert Test for around 2:20p. You will get an alert on your cell phone – & there will be an alert on radio and TV within a half hour - The purpose is to ensure that the systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level.

FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this fall.
