Holiness isn’t just about trying to be a good person,

…it’s not only about avoiding the “bad” things, spending time reading the Bible, going to church every Sunday, or how we appear and act towards others…

It’s about what’s in our hearts and how we carry ourselves each day—what we do and say to others, ✨especially✨ when no one’s watching. It’s taking “self” out of the picture, which removes comparison, criticism, and self-centeredness.

Being humble is what makes you holy. It lets you experience pure joy in loving + serving others without needing recognition—it just becomes part of who you are.

You won’t even think about how humble you’re being—you’ll just be lost in love for God and others.

📌 When you’re doing “all the right things” but still feel dry…
Even with Bible time, church, and “good mom” habits, your soul still feels empty. Holiness isn’t in the checklist—it’s in coming low before God saying, “I need You.”

📌 When you think you’re doing better than other moms…
Scrolling IG and thinking, “At least I don’t…” is pride in disguise. Humility says, “Lord, help me love her, not compare.”

📌 When you do something “holy”—but want it noticed…
If it’s about the applause, it’s pride. True holiness serves quietly, even if no one sees.

📌 When your worth depends on your kids’ behavior…
Your value isn’t based on appearances—it’s in becoming more like Christ, even unseen.

📌 When you’re humble—but proud of it…
Thinking “I’m actually pretty humble” is still pride. Real humility forgets self completely.

✨You love your family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, so why does motherhood still feel so heavy😔👇🏽

I used to think the weight I was carrying came from motherhood itself. But over time, I realized something deeper⬇️⬇️

Sometimes the weight we feel in motherhood isn’t from all the work we’re doing day in and day out… it’s from the pride we don’t realize we’re carrying.

Pride is often thought of as loud and boastful…
But the hidden pride we see more of each day sneaks up on us and often whispers things like:
✨“I shouldn’t need help.”
✨“I should be doing more.”
✨“I should have this figured out by now.”

But when we choose to lean in our faith + Jesus we see things in a different light.
…one where being humble isn’t just about how we act 🫶🏽
…and one where rest + peace isn’t found in being “enough” for the world, but by trusting this He is always enough 🤍

✅In this week’s post we’re diving into Chapters 4 & 5 of Andrew Murray’s book on Humility📖 and I’m sharing 4 sneaky ways pride shows up in motherhood — you likely don’t even notice it’s pride🤷🏼‍♀️— and 4 mindset shifts that you can use help you rest + take back your peace as a mom 🙏🏽😌

✨ mamas… a little tough love for us this week 🫶🏽

We’re going to STOP waiting to feel like we’re “blessed enough.”

We’re not going to act like we don’t have enough blessings already and keep asking for more when we’re surrounded by so many of the blessings we’ve prayed for 🙏🏽.

Let’s set the tone for the rest of the week💕: Speak life + encouragement over your home, your kids, your mind, and your motherhood.

Look around + take inventory of the blessings surrounding you that you once prayed for, and thank God for them✨

Even if your house is loud + your schedule for the week is crazy 🤪, take time to look around, be present in the moment and be grateful for the blessings you are living in right now🥰.

Carry His presence 🤍 into each and every moment this week.

Remind yourself that you’re not just surviving this week, but thriving on the blessings He’s already given to you each day… go ahead and think like you’re blessed, talk like you’re blessed, and act like you’re blessed because you are. Then, watch God show off by bringing your blessings to life like you’ve never seen before💕🙏🏽🤗🥰🥰

…and who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ He just might give more than you could’ve ever imagined✨🕊️

Helping Hand Hamburger Pasta🍝🍔
**recipe from HungryRoot**

Ingredients
1lb ground beef (can sub turkey or chicken for less calories + fat)
6oz shredded cheese
1lb pasta
11-16oz jar of alfredo

Instructions
Boil a large pot of salted water; add the pasta, cook 10-12 min or until al dente, then drain + return to pot.

Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp oil in a large skillet over med-high; add all beef to pan, break into large chunks + sear undisturbed 4-5 min; flip meat over, season generously with salt/pep + fave spices, then break into small pieces; cook 3-5 min until fully cooked.

Heat 1 container sauce in a pan over medium until warm; stir in cheese + let melt (about 2-3 min) then stir vigorously to combine; add sauce + beef to pasta.

Divide between plates-tasty!

Serves 4

Macros: 1000 calories | 48g fat | 91g carbs | 45g protein | 6g sugar

NOTES 📝⬇️⬇️
*We actually get more like 6 servings out of this because I serve it with a side veggie and breadsticks 😉
**If you sub ground chicken or turkey, the macros will change to be a little more macro friendly.
***You can also sub in dairy-free options as well if needed, which would also change the macros and could make this a bit more macro friendly too.

✨for the moms running on empty✨

You are not alone.

Motherhood has a way of draining us dry some days — the tantrums, the never-ending bedtime battles, the endless to-do list, the guilt, the pressure to be everything for everyone.

But friend… you were never meant to do this on your own. Jesus didn’t do life in His own strength. He did everything thru God and you — we can do the same thing if we just pray, trust & believe ❤️🙏🏽

When you feel like you have nothing left to give, that’s exactly where He loves to show up. That’s humility… letting Him be strong when you’re weak, leaning on Him for patience, asking for help when you’d rather push through.

Your emptiness isn’t failure. It’s an invitation for Him to fill you back up… make you whole again by carrying what was never yours to carry.

So the next time you catch yourself saying, “I can’t do another solo bedtime routine with my hubby working late,” or you start to feel guilty for needing a break — remember:

He’s not disappointed in your limits. He doesn’t see them as weakness, but as a way to show you how you can grow closer to Him — God is made perfect✨ in our weakness 🙏🏽

SAVE🤍 this for the days you feel you have nothing left to give + SHARE💞 it with a mama who needs to hear: You are never alone, and you were never meant to carry it all by yourself 🫶🏽🕊️

mamas, pride can be sneaky, and it shows up in our parenting more than we realize.

But, when you learn to be mom who parents from grace and not perfection, that’s when the devil and the prideful lies he tells us stop, and we start living in peace 🙏🏽 — now, let’s dig into Ch. 2 of Humility by Andrew Murray ⬇️⬇️

Here are some simple ways to shift from those prideful mindsets above to mindsets of grace + peace:

1️⃣ Slow down and really listen to your children… humility puts their heart above your hurry.

2️⃣ Apologize when you’re wrong. No, you are NOT a failure, and you are not weak…humility admits, “mom mistakes too… just like you”

3️⃣ Serve without expecting praise. God sees what you do each day, even if no one else does… hold onto that instead.

4️⃣ Pray for your children more than you lecture them… humility depends on God’s guidance for their hearts and minds more than your words.

5️⃣ Let go of perfection… Ask for help when you need… stop feeling guilty when you mess up or things don’t go as you planned… all moms need help from time to time and we all make mistakes as mothers (whether we admit it or not).

6️⃣ Give control to God. See lack of control as a blessing and one less thing you have on your plate and be excited about what God has in store for you.

7️⃣ Stop pushing yourself to the limit. Hustle culture is wrong. You don’t have to keep “grinding” to get to where you want to be. You need rest. You need breaks from your children and mom life — that’s not selfish.

8️⃣ Finally, in every situation above, pray. There is something to be said about praying your way through each day. We were never meant to do ANYTHING alone, so pray to God for his help through it all 🕊️

Pride tells you to hold it all together.
Humility invites you to depend on Jesus instead.

No mom gets it right all the time, but we do have a someone to lean on who does and has an answer for all the things we struggle with 🌿✨

Our Story

We're never quite sure what this life will throw at us. But, there's one thing you can always count on and that's faith. We always, always have our faith to lean on!

Faith in God. And... Faith in yourself. But, as many of us know all too well, it's not always easy to have faith in ourselves and in our abilities. And, for some reason when we become mothers, we seem to doubt ourselves a little more -- or at least that's how I feel at times.

So, to show mothers you are not alone, I wanted to create a place where I can be real. A place where I can talk about the struggles I face each day. A place where girls... women... mothers... can relate to one another. An outlet. Because we all feel the same feels each day. We just have to be brave enough to remove the "filter" we've placed on our lives for others to see what our life's really like.

Take a deep breath, and join me as we journey through this crazy thing called life // motherhood // being a woman together...
