Holiness isn’t just about trying to be a good person,
…it’s not only about avoiding the “bad” things, spending time reading the Bible, going to church every Sunday, or how we appear and act towards others…
It’s about what’s in our hearts and how we carry ourselves each day—what we do and say to others, ✨especially✨ when no one’s watching. It’s taking “self” out of the picture, which removes comparison, criticism, and self-centeredness.
Being humble is what makes you holy. It lets you experience pure joy in loving + serving others without needing recognition—it just becomes part of who you are.
You won’t even think about how humble you’re being—you’ll just be lost in love for God and others.
⸻
📌 When you’re doing “all the right things” but still feel dry…
Even with Bible time, church, and “good mom” habits, your soul still feels empty. Holiness isn’t in the checklist—it’s in coming low before God saying, “I need You.”
⸻
📌 When you think you’re doing better than other moms…
Scrolling IG and thinking, “At least I don’t…” is pride in disguise. Humility says, “Lord, help me love her, not compare.”
⸻
📌 When you do something “holy”—but want it noticed…
If it’s about the applause, it’s pride. True holiness serves quietly, even if no one sees.
⸻
📌 When your worth depends on your kids’ behavior…
Your value isn’t based on appearances—it’s in becoming more like Christ, even unseen.
⸻
📌 When you’re humble—but proud of it…
Thinking “I’m actually pretty humble” is still pride. Real humility forgets self completely.
