Strap in, because this engine room is my absolute favorite stop! We're face-to-face with some absolute monsters: the 1600 horsepower MTU V10 engines. That is the sound of pure, unadulterated power, folks! But check out the attention to detail—they’ve installed these robust stainless steel handrails throughout. Smart engineering means you'll always have something solid to grip when we hit those sloppy waters. Tell me, what kind of horsepower dreams are you running? Let’s talk marine muscle!

This is honestly one of the most gut-wrenching decisions I've ever had to make. After dedicating my entire life to the water—starting as a kid, spending decades living and breathing boating for my career, and pouring countless hours and vacations into this very vessel—it’s time for a major change. I personally handled the complete rebuild, refit, and every single system on board, and she has been truly phenomenal. But my heart is ready to pursue adventures beyond the helm. It’s time to pass the torch so someone else can step aboard, care for her, and make incredible memories. A tough farewell, but a necessary step toward what's next!

The constant worry about escalating boat maintenance costs is understandable, but it’s a perception that warrants critical examination. I often draw a parallel to car ownership: if you handle your own oil changes, you significantly reduce expenses. A vessel operates on the same principle. We manage nearly all upkeep—painting, engine servicing—precisely to realize dramatic savings. When inquiries about our annual expenditure arise, the reality is less daunting than assumed. For instance, applying two gallons of paint, an epoxy base and a top coat, costs around $230 when done by us annually as needed. The secret to keeping ownership costs reasonable isn't in finding a cheaper mechanic; it's in taking up the tools yourself.
