For me, it’s been the season of watching out for hazelnuts and peanuts in all the holiday treats, plus discovering that there’s something in Almond Roca that made my tongue swell up and feel painful.

Anybody else out there who has been dodging food allergies during this holiday season???

It’s the end of the year a lot of people are feeling burned out. This can be especially so with food allergies, since managing them brings stresses and challenges. Fortunately, parenting coach Gina Clowes has terrific ideas to help with self-care, and to not let #foodallergy management consume life. We hope you enjoy! Allergy Moms

An important message from one of the medical research companies we supply allergic IgE-positive plasma to:

Many people are so used to living with their allergies that they never even think that they should have their healthcare professional reassess their initial diagnosis. But just because you know what you were allergic to a year ago doesn’t mean you know everything you’re allergic to today. Since your reactions can change over time—particularly to foods like egg—retesting can play an important role in your quality of life or the life of someone you love,1 by reducing unnecessary food avoidance and the fear of an adverse reaction. Be sure to consult with your healthcare professional.
