2nd VP James Hall Sr. The Prospect Heights Vol. Fire Co. is the first fire company that was established in Ewing Township, NJ in 1909. It is one of three fire companies that protect a population of 36,000 within 15.6 square miles. Over 60+ active volunteers support the f

irematic and business functions of the Prospect Heights Vol. Fire Co. 24/7/365. The Fire Company is led by a volunteer fire chief and president and have additional fire officers and table officers supporting them. The Fire Company also has 3 career firefighters that are Ewing Township employees supporting the volunteer firefighters working 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
