Women's Writing Circle The Women's Writing Circle encourages women to share and tell their stories. The Women's Writing Circle is a place to share our stories.

We enjoy monthly read-arounds and critique sessions and discuss writing techniques and publishing options. Together we break the isolation of writing and join in camaraderie and goodwill, finding in writing a way to heal, to empower and to find voice.

Writing brings us together in community in beautiful spaces and places like the local bookstore, Wellington Square. So proud of our authors who penned unique stories and poems for publication in our anthology "Moments of Love."

Writing can be done anywhere and at any time. Taking a walk and reflecting on what we see, hear, and feel is our writing prompt for June.

As I walked from the beach house where I was staying with friends toward the bay, I felt the long-awaited sunshine and heat on my neck and shoulders, the first gifts of approaching summer. I was bo…

June is the month of poetry and flowers, romance and love. Take a look at our writing prompt for June (see link below), put pen to paper, and join us this Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m.

Once again, we have the beautiful private room located in the Farmhouse at People's Light in Malvern for our read-around. Come and be inspired by your sisters in writing. It's never too late to start writing again, if you have stopped, or to write anew with vigor on a project you hold dear.

We also discuss the craft of writing, offering useful ideas and resources, writing prompts, and critiques.

An RSVP is always appreciated. For directions:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an acknowledgment that we are in this journey together. Writing is a great healer, whether journaling daily or belonging to a community of writers, where our mantra is: "The first duty of love is to listen." ~ Paul Tillich

We had free write time today. We wrote from this quote: "Make the space between you and another a sanctuary so the other person can speak safely." The stories that came out of this exercise expressed both vulnerability and strength when it comes to a hurtful relationship, past or present. Many thanks to The Farmhouse at People's Light in Malvern, PA for hosting us in a quiet and beautiful room.

Mother's Day reflections and how our days can quickly go from chaos to calm.

There are times when it feels like nothing will ever shift, and then, in a heartbeat, everything changes. At daybreak, the sound of birds announcing a new day woke me as pale, washed sunlight slipp…
