as is probably evident from my account, I have about nine billion hobbies, and one I've really been enjoying lately is rock tumbling! I got one tumbler for my birthday and lucked out with another at dabble and now I am makin these babies SMOOTH. this is all rough tumbled, just stage one but they've had several weeks because I like my rocks Smooth and shaping happens at the first grit. I pick up a lot of rocks with fractures, so when they tumble, chips break off. I collected some of the larger bits in a jar to maybe make jewelry with and I have a brain disease called I Must Keep The Scraps so I guess im also making sand. anyway, a few more weeks of tumbling and then I'll run the best ones through polish and make some wrapped stones!

mesh moment continues!!! another lil shrug to make my tank tops cross seasonal. I used two skeins of plucky worsted which is absolutely DIVINE. and yes I did immediately start yet another mesh sweater I'm obsessed.

I made some yarn! this was dyed by corgi hill farm approx a million years ago and now it is a fun skein of sport weight wool yeehaw (don't forget to come make buttons with me tomorrow at dabble at 2p!!)

yet more baskets wahoo!! I used some macrame rings to make some tiered hanging baskets, perfect for holding bits and bobs.

been in a collaging mood! made some mushroom cards for Decembers patreon mail clubs (sign up for January mail club! get cool art mail! Patreon.com/c/brinnanzaart). I've been getting into junk journaling and these lil square punch layouts which has been very fun and is a great way to save little scraps of every day life in notebooks I've been hoarding literally since high school

wanna do papercrafts with me? I will be at dabble THIS SATURDAY from 2p to 4p with my button press(es the 2.25" one is finicky) and I will help you make any button you want! I will have blanks for drawing or writing on as well as a selection of papers and ephemera for collaging! it's gonna be fun come say hi
