Southern Comfort, One Biscuit at a Time 🧡
We recently stopped by Maple Street Biscuit Company, and let’s just say… this place knows how to do breakfast right. 😋

Here’s what we ordered:
🍗 The Squawking Goat ($10.99) – Hand-breaded chicken, crispy goat cheese, and their signature pepper jelly. Sweet, spicy, savory — basically perfection stacked between two golden biscuits.
🍳 The Retro Plate ($10.99) – Two eggs, bacon, smashbrowns, and a biscuit. We added sausage gravy for an extra $2.49 because, let’s be honest… there’s no such thing as too much gravy.
🍯 Iced Cinnamon Biscuits ($2.99) – Flaky biscuits with cinnamon chips and vanilla icing. A perfect sweet finish to a Southern-style breakfast feast.

Everything was delicious, hearty, and made with serious biscuit love. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu — especially with those build-your-own biscuit options calling our name!

If you’re craving authentic Mexican street food right here in Baldwin County, look no further than TACO FIESTA

This family-owned spot delivers the real deal — bold flavors, quick service, and prices that’ll make your wallet just as happy as your taste buds. With locations in Robertsdale, Foley, and Gulf Shores, you’re never far from taco heaven.

Here’s what we had:
🌮 Campechana Street Taco (Tex-Mex Style) – A perfect mix of chorizo and steak. Flavor-packed, juicy, and absolutely my new favorite. ($3)
🌮 Asada Street Tacos (Tex-Mex Style) – Tender, seasoned steak, loaded with fresh toppings. ($3 each)
🌯 Campechana Burrito – Stuffed with that same chorizo-steak combo, rice, and all the good stuff. ($8)

Everything was delicious — quick, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. And the best part? When you’re done, you get a bonus taco salad (aka all the delicious toppings that fell out of your taco). 😂

📍 Parlor Doughnuts – Downtown Fairhope, AL

Fairhope just got a little sweeter! 🍩 We stopped by Parlor Doughnuts yesterday for their grand opening and discovered what all the buzz is about.

These aren’t your average donuts — not yeast, not cake, and not quite croissants either. Parlor’s signature layered doughnuts are more like light, flaky biscuits with a sweet twist — golden on the outside, tender inside, and filled or topped with incredible flavors (no holes here!).

Here’s what we tried:
🥜 Peanut Butter Cup – Rich, nutty, and perfectly indulgent.
🍁 Maple Pecan – Warm maple glaze and crunchy pecans on top — an instant favorite.

Each one was fresh, buttery, and layered with flavor in every bite. They also offer vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto options, plus coffee and breakfast items to round out your visit.

📍 Cheeseburger Randy’s – Downtown Foley, AL

We’ve been hearing the buzz for months, and now we know why. Cheeseburger Randy’s is serving up some of the BEST smash burgers we’ve ever had — and trust us, we take burgers very seriously around the EatBeat office. 🍔🔥

They’ve been evenings-only until now, but starting this week you can grab them for both lunch and dinner. We stopped by last week, but decided to share this on their lunch launch day — the timing couldn’t be better.

Here’s what we tried:

🍔 Cheeseburger ($8.69) – 2 smashed patties, melty American cheese, shredded lettuce, their signature “Thin A$$ Pickles,” and house-made burger sauce. Absolute perfection.

🌶️ J.B.C. ($10.69) – 2 patties topped with bacon, diced pickled jalapeños, and cream cheese. Sounds unusual? Maybe. Tastes incredible? Absolutely. Cream cheese on a burger is a hidden gem, and Randy’s nails it.

🍟 Frings ($5.69) – Can’t decide between fries or onion rings? Get both. This mix is served with their addictive burger sauce and might just be the ultimate sidekick.

Between the flavor, quality, and laid-back all-outdoor vibe, Cheeseburger Randy’s lives up to the hype and then some. Next on our list? The Randy Burger, made with Alabama’s favorite brand...Conecuh Sausage. 🌭💯
