What's up Team? This truly hurts my heart to make this post. I am being blunt because I have no other way to say this, but for everyone that says this is West Virginia, things like that don't happen here. Well it just did!

What's up Team? Wow spring has sprung. The sun was out so the guns were out. Specifically Defensive Rifle 2.

So many return students from our recent DR 1 course, and a few from last year's course. DR2 was all about the Transition and multiple moving targets. These students did not disappoint, they crushed DR 2 just as they did in DR 1.

What's up Team? What an amazing day. First Team Defense spent the day at the Bridgeport Country Club. We were honored to be presenting the Real Estate Agent Safety and Self-Defense program.

We had Realtors from all over the state of WV, 54 total Realtors attended. Such a great group of professionals, they were so engaged in asking questions and wanting to learn more.

I can not thank Elizabeth Koerber enough for setting this up, and a special thank you to the staff at Bridgeport Country Club For an amazing luch and Hospitality Service. Here are a few pictures from today's activities. Until next time be safe, be vigilant, and watch your six!

What's up Team? What an amazing class we had today. Defensive Rifle 1 was the course for today. Strong winds and a little rain, did not stop the strong will of the students to learn and preform such great skills.

This class was full, and had such great students. We had absolute beginners all the way up to Veterans from the Navy, Marines, and Army.

This class was also bitter sweet for the Cadre at FTD. one of our own Rachel Southern will be leaving in a few days for her Deployment rotation to the Middle East with the United States Air Force. We will miss her here at FTD. We know it won't be long till she is back home with us.

What's up Team? I hope everyone is surviving the weather, it's been a winter of floods, snow, and wind. As we move through these last days of winter, and get ready to hit the range with so many classes this year. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of our followers.

With in the past year FTD has grown a lot. We have doubled our student count and have grown on social media platforms. Yesterday we reached 900 followers. That may not seem like a lot to some, but we went from a little over 500 last year, to over 900 in less than 8 months.

I would like to thank everyone of our followers, students, and staff for making FTD what it is and spreading the word of safety and training. Until next time be safe, be vigilant, and watch your six.
