What's up Team?? Today we celebrate our Veterans! Without them, we wouldn't get to do the things we love. These men and women have given so much, missed births, birthdays, graduations, and all that we do on a daily basis without even thinking about it. We owe so much to them that saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough. First Team Defense would like to recognize two special Veterans we personally know and work at First Team Defense, Rachel Southern with the United States Air Force and Curtis Lee with the United States Marines Corps. What's up Team?? I hope that everyone had an amazing weekend. This week is a very busy week for a lot of us, and we start it off with a very special celebration.

Today is the 250th birthday of the the United States Marines Corps. Born in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia PA, as the first ever recruitment center. FTDs Very own Curtis Lee has proudly served in the Marines Corps, and still carries on their honor and traditions.

So from all of us at First Team Defense, Happy Birthday Marines and thank you for our freedoms!! Until next time be safe, be vigilant and watch your six!

What's up Team?? Wow what a beautiful Saturday for our last CCHDF Course of the year. We were near capacity with 12 students and an amazing Cadre.

I can not believe 2025 is in the books for the training portion of FTD. I would like to say thank you to all the students we have trained, and those who have trained us. As we move through the holidays into 2026 FTD is working hard to bring you more and advanced training. We have so many new things coming in 2026, and we look forward to seeing our past students, and so many new ones.

I would like to give a big shout out to Heather Haynes with Delta Defense for stopping in to give such an amazing opportunity to our students. Traveling 4.5 hours to be part of this truly amazing training event. Also to Melvin J. A. Mendoza for help in setting it up.
Last but not least I would like to thank Chris Felton for the opportunity to teach and educate at such an amazing facility. Here are some photos, and until next time be safe, be vigilant and watch your six!
