Henry tenía toda la razón. Está claro que en estos tiempos que nos ha tocado vivir el presupuesto para publicidad se ha reducido al haberse reducido los beneficios y en consecuencia el dinero disponible par inversiones. Y digo inversiones ya que siempre he considerado la publicidad como una inversión. Pero no podemos frenar en seco las inversiones ya que esto no provocaría otra cosa que el declive de la empresa hasta su desaparición.

En consecuencia, debemos seguir invirtiendo en publicidad pero al disponer de menos presupuesto tenemos que afinar nuestra creatividad y optar por soluciones lo más efectivas y rentables posibles. Podemos también rebuscar entre miles de opciones que surgen ahora más que nunca y que nos permiten obtener lo mismo por menos euros. Son las llamadas empresas Low Cost, empresas que no bajan precios reduciendo calidad sinó empleándose a fondo para lograr reducir costes y optimizar los recursos. También es necesario reducir la publicidad de marca en aras de la publicidad que nos traiga ventas rápidas. Lo ideal sería que estas actuaciones enfocadas a la venta rápida tuviesen un componente de conocimiento de marca. ¿Cómo?, de nuevo la misma respuesta… imaginación, creatividad, innovación.

El problema de las personas y los países es la pereza para encontrar las salidas y soluciones. Sin crisis no hay desafíos, sin desafíos la vida es una rutina, una lenta agonía. Sin crisis no hay méritos. Es en la crisis donde aflora lo mejor de cada uno, porque en crisis todo viento es caricia.

Hablar de Crisis es promoverla, y callar en la crisis es exaltar el conformismo.

En vez de esto, trabajemos duro. Acabemos de una vez con la única crisis amenazadora: que es la tragedia de no querer luchar por superarla.”
