This kid has faced it all - hours in the cage, days on the field, and bouncing back from a torn UCL with Tommy John surgery. Through every high and low, Ian's shown what it means to have heart. 24 years in, we said "I do" again, but simpler—just us, the sea, and a beach ceremony in Ocean City, NJ. Dad officiated, and we nodded to my husband's Greek heritage with crowns. Our wedding was Greek Orthodox, our vow renewal was Episcopalian and the bookend ceremonies encompass who we are as a couple.
New chapter time. With our adult boys chasing their dreams, we're refocusing on 'us.' Shout out to all the empty nesters out there!
Wearing my grandpa’s ring and grandma's necklace, we felt their legacy. Especially when a classy older couple who had been married 56 years stopped by and it really felt like my beloved late grandparents visiting in person and giving their blessings.
Now, it’s about heart-to-hearts, facing life head-on, and yes, embracing therapy. We’re jumping into this chapter, knowing the best way forward is by truly understanding what’s behind. Here’s to whatever’s next! 💕💕💕
