I'm Kegan Burns, Founder/CEO of Fourth Estate Media Group LLC. I was born and raised in the Ozark Mountains of Northern Arkansas and now reside in New Mexico, The Land of Enchantment. It's probably the last place I ever thought I would end up, but it's a special place. I work in Construction/Project Management, but my flair for writing and literature comes from my grandmother. She held a degree in

English Lit and was my high school English teacher and editor/critic during elementary school. I'm an Army Veteran and served one 15-month tour in Northern Iraq. I'm married with many incredible children who are growing into wonderful, caring young adults. I enjoy archery, hunting in the western states, and fishing when possible. I spent many years lost, confused, and in and out of trouble. I had an interesting childhood and a family full of love mixed with a bit of generational trauma. I've come to value love, kindness, honor, and God above everything. I've had struggles with trauma-related mental health, but slowly and surely, God keeps chiseling me into something good for myself and others. I created this business almost two years ago due to the collapse of mainstream media and my desire to report news and share stories that inform and bring people together rather than divide, as the media has done for at least my 36 years on this space rock we call home. It's a passion, but don't get me wrong, I have dreams for it to be profitable someday. As I said, the group was established a couple of years ago as a planned effort with my younger brother. Take a fool's advice, and don't go into business with family cause you may end up without one. The real work here at 4th Estate has just begun, and I plan to work and grow this as long as possible. I aim to provide you with news, information, and entertainment that is not divisive, addictive, or sensationalized. I'd rather give you the facts and information to think for yourself. This group consists of myself and my German Shepherd named Ghost, pictured on our profile banner. We plan to grow our staff and help be the Watch Dogs of media and government. We hope to live up to the news media's real purpose as the Fourth Estate of Government. God Bless and Hang with us!
