Here’s track 7 from “The Hero Within”….check out the video to see the song title!
This piece has a special connection to the visual you see above. In form of drawing, painting or design, I am no artist. However, I am often strongly inspired to write music from visual art. This particular piece came from my imagination. The music speaks of being trapped - like you are made of rock built into a mountain, reaching out to sea. You break free and walk along the ocean floor, like one would walk through a forest. In place of trees and birds, you look up and see coral and fish. When I described this to my friend Christian and showed him the music, he created this visual in a matter of days. You can see more of his work here:
To have a fellow artist bring your vision to life is quite a special thing, and to Christian I am eternally grateful.
