For a better understanding.. Tap In is a safe space to call or text when you're overwhelmed in crisis or just don't want to feel alone again it's okay to not be okay it's not okay to leave you there. When to tap in? When you feel alone
Heavy thoughts
Not sure who to talk to
Feel like you're close to the edge

When you type in you will be connected with a real person who listens without judgment and helps you take the next step. I'm not a replacement for emergency service or a licensed therapist.

When it gets heavy, Tap In!
You don't have to sit in silence, especially alone.
One call. One text. One connection.

I created tap in because mental health is real and it's something affecting many and rarely talked about or addressed. February this year someone close to me lost his battle with mental health and decided his war was over. A loss that close to you, to your soul changes you. It opened my eyes to people close to me and others affected and I decided I can allow this circumstance to either affect me or infect me. Things left unsaid I should have just listened thoughts infecting my being I took a stand to effectively being driven creating this I don't want anyone to feel like they have to go through this alone. Upon further research in this area, there are not many places that one that is low income, a veteran, a felon, victim, survivor, addict or recovering addict to receive appropriate mental health help. I also found rather than finding help and resources people are locked up. Tap in is a safe space for those that may be defeated not destroyed. I feel compelled to raise mental health awareness to reach out in our community bridge the gap be peer support offer mentorship and let people know it's okay to not be okay it's not okay to leave you there. I will be providing a support line and soon coming podcast which will allow real raw conversations for people to talk most importantly to know that they have somebody that's listening. You matter, your story matters, your feelings are valid and I'm here. I am for this to be a movement in our community again bridging the Gap between mental health issues and our community and allowing people to know they're not just needed they're wanted, if they're feeling overwhelmed, don't want to be alone, just need someone to talk to, Tap in!
