As the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, Inc. near their 50th anniversary, we celebrate a nonprofit whose kindness has shaped generations. For nearly half a century, this devoted group has championed literacy, imagination, and access—raising funds, awareness, and spirits across the community.

From supporting the Summer Reading Program to countless enrichment initiatives, the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, Inc. have made sure that every child, teen, and family has the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow. Their impact goes far beyond dollars—it’s in the hours volunteered, the programs made possible, and the doors opened for thousands.

We’re proud to honor the Friends of the Library - Fayetteville NC, for their unwavering dedication, selfless service, and enduring legacy. Cumberland County is better because of you. 💛
