We see a lot of decks where the fascia is brought up to cover the ends of the deck boards. The reason we add borders to our decks is so the fascia is under our boards. This keeps water out.

This method shown here in this picture will trap moisture and cause your deck framing to rot much faster. 😬

NWA Business Review got a chance to meet with Brandy Mcconnell at Brandy’s In Home Dog Grooming! Brandy started her business in the beginning of covid when the shop she was working at shut down like many others during this time. Without much to do she took it to the internet and posted an ad for dog grooming and it just blew up. That is how she started Brandy’s In Home Dog Grooming. With her 21 years of experience she's been able to accomplish many things, help her clients in different situations, and give them the knowledge they need when it comes to their dogs. Since she's started her business she has been serving a little over 1000 clients just in the Northwest Arkansas area and some parts of Missouri. With all these clients and new ones coming in she did recently hire a new groomer and bather to help her out with all her business. Now that she has the help she needs she is looking forward to opening a daycare boarding school for her customers' pets and possibly doing grooming on site for older dogs or dogs with anxiety to help both the dogs out as well as her customers. He comes from an entrepreneurial background, his mom owned a daycare and he had some uncles that owned their own auto shops. So with that he followed in his family's footsteps and opened his own business. Now taking the pandemic into consideration he saw that people and businesses needed help cleaning their houses and their offices. NWA Business Review got the chance to meet with Andy Kuszak at A Superior Inspection here recently and got some great information! Andy started off as part of a commercial construction team building casinos and different hotels. He did this for a few years, then after a while when he had a few rental properties that he sold, he saw the inspection reports and saw himself being able to do that. After that his business just exploded with his construction background and him knowing all the ins and outs of his industry. What brought him up to have such a great drive and to run such an awesome business was what he said “the bug” his parents planted in him growing up. His parents were a great part of his upbringing, they helped with his education on being his own boss and he learned a lot from them.
