BREAKING: We're monitoring a plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport in Iredell County. Multiple reports say the corporate jet that crashed at 10:15 a.m. is owned by GB Aviation,former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle's company.

There are multiple confirmed fatalities, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's office.

Statesville officials held a brief news conference at 12:30 p.m., confirming that the plane had crashed and further information would be released later. The airport is currently closed because of the debris.
