The San Lorenzo Valley Museum will be hosting their Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction at Scopazzi’s Restaurant in Boulder Creek on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Details at slvmuseum.org

This popular local event is sure to be a fun-filled evening of supporting the Museum and its programs. There will be an online auction leading up to the dinner with a live and silent auction on event night. The online auction will be live between August 2 and August 10. Items that are won in the online auction can be picked up at the dinner, at the Museum Office, or mailed. Live and silent auction items include a 2-night Pleasure Point AirBnB stay, Santa Cruz Warriors entertainment package, Annieglass, Bonny Doon Farm gift pack, artwork by local artisans, kayak rentals, train rides, wine-tasting tours and much more!

The event’s proceeds will benefit the museum whose mission is to preserve and share the history of the San Lorenzo Valley. In their biggest fundraiser of the year, this annual event helps to keep Museum admission and programs on a donation basis. The funds also sponsor local historian lectures about San Lorenzo Valley history, underwrites school field trips, brings in traveling exhibitions from nationally recognized and local museums, and hosts family activities.

New life at the Brookdale Bar & Grill, previously the Brookdale Cafe and the Brookdale Lounge. Now merged into one and in the capable hand of Mario Ibbara. You know Mario as the owner of other great establishments as Aroma Restaurant and Henflings in Ben Lomond. Check out some great photos of the event. Thank you Steve Kuehl for once again providing the community with your amazing pictures. Thank you SLV Chamber of Commerce for being there to conduct the ribbon cutting.
