Another promise fulfilled 🙏 🇱🇷 💫

Less Talking. More Action. More Innovation. More Empowerment for our people especially The Youth.

This exercise ended yesterday:

1) Paid L$300,000 through GT Bank in entrance fees for 100 Liberians who are aspiring to obtain university education.

2) Registered ALL 100 Beneficiaries online via U.L. Digital Entrance Application Form.

3) Ongoing Free Tutorial Classes and Career Mentorship for ALL 100 of them including at least 1,000 entrance registrants.

4) As part of our approach to inclusivity, fourteen (14) persons with disabilities benefited and will also write U.L. entrance.

5) Date of Entrance: Saturday, November 22, 2025.

We are investing in a new generation of nation builders and problem solvers. The MKNK Foundation will continue to empower our people. They deserve far more. It’s time to invest in the people.

The Vanguard Student Unification Party-SUP has issued a one-week ultimatum to the Government of Liberia and the University of Liberia Administration, led by Dr. Maparyan, demanding the immediate provision of buses for students commuting to and from various campuses.

According to SUP, the continuous transportation crisis has subjected thousands of struggling students to daily hardship, and the party vows to take “unspecified actions” should authorities fail to respond within the stipulated timeframe.

The statement reflects SUP’s long-standing commitment to defending the welfare of the students and holding public officials accountable for neglecting the needs of students at the University of Liberia - UL

In a bold statement to our blog, Presidential Press Secretary Michael N. Blojaye has confirmed that ULSIL will not honor the University of Liberia Student Affairs communication halting political party rallies on campus.

According to the Press Secretary, the ban on student politics is not the result of the personal statement of Mr. Bartekwa. He clarified that while the ban may prevent students from participating in democratic elections, it cannot overturn Article 17 of the 1986 Liberian Constitution, which guarantees the right of assembly to all citizens.

“The administration cannot grant the formation of a political party while claiming there is a ban on student politics,” PPS Blojaye noted, highlighting the inconsistency in UL’s enforcement."

Furthermore, the PPS confirmed that ULSIL under President Tingban will send official communication to the University Administration, Board of Trustees, and other stakeholders, emphasizing that Student Affairs has overstepped its functions in issuing the ban.

For the first time in the history of the University of Liberia, two rival student parties Vanguard Student Unification Party-SUP and Progressive Students Alliance - PROSA have scheduled their Grand Parades on the same day to celebrate their anniversaries.

The big question: Who will blink first and change their date?
With both parties showing no sign of backing down, the campus could witness unprecedented chaos, a blood bath of chants, and rival energy.

Adding fuel to the fire, the UL administration has just reaffirmed the ban on student politics, making this event even more tense and unpredictable.
