1944-1945 – Japanese I-400 Sen-Toku

At 400 feet, I-400 could carry three Aichi Seiran bombers in a hangar, launch them in minutes, and sail 37,500 miles. Built to bomb the Panama Canal, the war ended before the mission. The U.S. scuttled them in 1946 to keep the tech from the Soviets.
