If you’re an “order a bunch of apps for the table” person, SAVE THIS NYC SPOT. 🥂🕯️✨

The Bar Room on the Upper East Side has the perfect moody NYC vibe + such a fun menu for sharing. We came for drinks and bites and honestly this is exactly the kind of place I want to start a night out. 🍸

Here’s everything we ordered:

🍸 Espresso Martini
🌸 Blossom Spritz
🥔 Caviar Tots
🍤 Shrimp Skewers with Thai Peanut Sauce
🫓 Hummus + Pita
🥗 Wedge Salad with Pancetta
🍊 Blood Orange Margarita
🍔 The Bar Room Burger — sharp cheddar, pickles, melted onion & truffle aioli + fries

The caviar tots were obviously a MUST, the shrimp skewers were delicious, and that blood orange margarita tasted dangerously close to juice. 😂🍹

🍰🌈🍉🍋‍🟩🧃🗽 BUTTERFIELD MARKET | NYC

Everyone goes to Butterfield Market for the viral dot cake but I’m here to tell you that’s not even the best thing there. 👀

Obviously I had to try the cake because it’s been ALL over my feed. It was cute, it was good, but honestly? I probably wouldn’t get it again. 🤷‍♀️

BUT THE WATERMELON LEMON LIME JUICE?! 🍉🍋‍🟩 I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best juices I’ve EVER had. I would go back for that alone.

And I feel like no one talks about how much there actually is inside Butterfield Market! Prepared foods, baked goods, espresso, fresh juices, flowers, gifts and sooo much more. Definitely give yourself time to wander around because the viral cake is only a tiny part of what makes this place worth visiting.

My verdict: Butterfield Market = worth the hype ✅
The viral dot cake = try it once 🍰
That juice = GET IT. 🧃👏

Trying viral NYC spots so you don’t have to ✨🥯 and unfortunately Liberty Bagels was a MISS for me. 😭

New York has SO many incredible bagel shops, so I had high hopes for this one after seeing it all over social media.

I ordered an everything bagel with the honey sriracha cream cheese because it sounded SO good. 🍯🌶️🥯

The verdict? Not worth the hype. 🫣

The bagel tasted stale, and the cream cheese had such an artificial flavor that I couldn’t get into it. I wanted that sweet + spicy combo to HIT and it just didn’t. 😭

There are way too many amazing bagels in NYC to settle for one just because it’s viral.

❌ Would I go back? Probably not.
🥯 Would I tell you to skip the viral line and find a neighborhood bagel shop instead? 100000%.

Trying NYC’s most VIRAL spots to see which ones are actually worth the hype 👀🗽☕️

First up: Blank Street Coffee. I’ve seen SO many people hype this place up, with some even calling it some of the best coffee in NYC, so obviously I had to see for myself.

I ordered the Coconut Cream Latte 🥥☕️ and… it was fine. 😂 Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad at all, but for the amount of hype Blank Street gets, I was expecting a LIFE-CHANGING coffee moment.

My verdict: good, but not something I’d go out of my way for. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Everything I ate at Din Tai Fung NYC 🥟🥢🍜✨ — and whether I’d actually order it again 👀

I FINALLY made it to Din Tai Fung in NYC! If you’ve never been, Din Tai Fung is famous for its handmade xiao long bao (soup dumplings), noodles, wontons + other Taiwanese favorites. And obviouslyyyy I had to see if it lived up to the hype.

Here’s everything we ordered + my very serious ratings 😂👇🏼

🥒 Cucumber Salad — 10/10
EXCELLENT. So fresh, crunchy + flavorful. I would 100% order this again.

🫛 String Beans with Garlic — 10/10
Why were the vegetables some of the best things we ate?! 😂 SO GOOD. Garlicky, perfectly cooked and absolutely worth ordering.

🍚 Pork Chop Fried Rice — -501949/10
It’s a NO from me. 😭😂 I know people love this one, but personally never again.

🍜 Noodles with Sesame Sauce — 6/10
The flavor was actually really tasty, but I didn’t love the texture of the noodles. Not bad by any means, just probably wouldn’t be my first choice next time.

🌶️🥟 Chicken Spicy Wontons — 9/10
LOVEEEE. The sauce!!! These were easily one of my favorites and I would absolutely get them again.

🍫🥟 Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao — 10292939393193929/10
LITERALLY. LIFE. CHANGING. I am not being dramatic when I say I would go back solely for these. 😂 The warm chocolate + chewy mochi inside the xiao long bao?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME.

Overall, Din Tai Fung was definitely worth trying, but there were some major hits and one VERY major miss for me 😂 And those chocolate mochi xiao long bao alone might have secured my return visit.
