About the Coach, Heather Coleman-Voss
For more than 12 years I have taught and coached adults who are in the midst of a career transition or moving up in their field, and it is extremely rewarding. The presentations I create and teach center around resume development, networking, interviewing, customer service, the multi-generational workforce, leadership, employee engagement, and social media for professional success. I am also a member of Career Directors International and the IAPO International Association of Professional Career Coaches. My specialties include personal branding, resume development, interviewing, and social media for networking and career success.
Having worked closely with local city officials, DDA offices, Chambers of Commerce hundreds of businesses has allowed me the opportunity to work on projects surrounding economic development, human resources support, business relationship growth, grant funding and talent acquisition. Referral networking, connecting great people and creating community collaboration are my favorite things! Social media collaboration, content creation, and social media management are components I greatly enjoy.
Speaking and teaching on topics related to social media engagement, I frequently present locally and regionally. Some of my favorite engagements include: Automation Alley; Kelly Services Corporate; Oscoda Chamber of Commerce Gala; Revenue North; Michigan Council of Women in Technology; Tech Town and many more. I'm currently a "Key Holder" and consistent presenter at The SheHive (www.theshehive.com).
Community is very important to me, and I serve on several committees and boards with the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority, Ferndale Schools and the City of Ferndale.
