A very fresh and a ripe pineapple purchased from Mapusa market. This is the "Rani" variety. This is more sweet and tasty than the "Raja variety. Normally the longer and slimmer version. It is compared with a miniature pineapple from our home garden. Planning a exotic pineapple recipe!!

Chef Bali of European Culinary Arts spoke about the rare cuisines of Gowda Saraswats, Bundelkhand Reva Patiala. Shared rare spices of our country and their uses. The chef had brought rare traditional spices that are slowly disappearing from our spice boxes. It was very interesting and educational . I learned about spices that I did not know existed!
Thanks to the Culinary club for inviting Chef Bali.
