Generational knowledge is once again under attack in Colorado. I have said it many times and I'll say it again - once we stop using our natural resources, we will lose respect for them. Once we lose respect for them, we won't protect them. When we don't protect our natural resources..... I don't want my boys growing up in a world where that happens.

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife commission is hearing a citizens petition to end the sale of fur in Colorado. Show up!

It's been an interesting season. *Doc approved*
Day 2 I made my first bad shot on an elk - a nice bull.. he came in closer than I thought. He's got a broadhead in his vertebrae now..
Overall it's just been confidence building and humbling at the same time.
Being able to give myself that opportunity on a solo (kind of ❤️) hunt, and not making the shot count. Worse, not even making a clean miss.
I feel like my opportunity for this season has came and went. Especially as I get slower. Trying to remind myself there's plenty of season left
